Privacy notice
Last updated October 2026 · Draft for MVP review — have this reviewed by a qualified attorney before launch.
We built Bloom to collect as little as possible. This notice explains what we store and why.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a securely hashed password (or your Google sign-in).
- Optional profile: a first name, your dating goal, and a short context note — only if you choose to share them.
- Saved content: journal entries and Confidence Coach conversations, stored privately in your account.
- Usage counts: the time and tool of each AI assist, to protect the service against automated abuse.
What we don't store
Text you paste into Conversation Check, Reply Helper, Profile Builder, and Date Prep is processed to generate a response and is not saved to your account. Please avoid pasting sensitive details such as financial information, ID numbers, or home addresses.
AI processing
To generate responses, your text is sent securely to an AI model provider through our server. API keys are never exposed in your browser.
Who can see your data
Only you. Access is restricted at the database level so each account can read only its own records. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Deleting your data
From Settings you can delete individual journal entries, clear your coach history, or permanently delete your account and all associated data.
Contact
Contact details will be published before public launch.
